Thailand Actively Participated in the 5th CIIE
泰国积极参与第五届中国国际进口博览会
2022年11月6日，泰王国驻上海总领事乐达·普玛女士携各泰国官方驻沪机构成员，共同参观考察了前来参加第五届中国国际进口博览会，并在上海国家会展中心布展的泰国进口商，并对他们表示支持。
On 6 November 2022, Ms. Lada Phumas, Consul-General of Thailand in Shanghai, along with members of Team Thailand in Shanghai, visited and supported Thai enterprises in their exhibitions at the 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE) at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), Shanghai.
泰国今年的参与重点仍然是食品和农产品，这是泰国的相对优势。泰国参展商向大家展示了其高品质、健康和富有创新的产品，如果干、冷冻产品、植物蛋白类产品、加工食品、各种饮料和能量饮料等。
The focus of Thailand’s participation this year remains on food and agricultural products, which are Thailand’s comparative strength. Thai exhibitors are presenting their high-quality, healthy and innovative products, such as dried fruits, frozen products, plant-based protein, processed food, a variety of beverages and energy drink.
泰国商务部邀请了13家泰国企业在泰国展台展出其产品，并展示了获得“泰国精选”和“泰国信任标志”的产品，以确保其质量和真实性。同时还推广了数字贸易的线上官方平台，如“泰国食品国天猫官方商店”、B2B和B2C电子商务模式的“Thaitrade.com”，以及24小时线上展廊内展览的“泰国国际贸易展”。
The Ministry of Commerce of Thailand has brought 13 enterprises from Thailand to exhibit their products at the Thai booth, and showcased products that have received “Thai Select” and “Thailand Trust Mark” in ensuring their quality and authenticity. It has also promoted online official platforms for digital trade such as “Thailand Food Country Tmall Official Store”, “Thaitrade.com” for B2B and B2C e-commerce, and “THAIFEX Virtual Trade Show” for a 24-hour virtual exhibition.
在中国泰国商会（TCCC）的支持下，中国工商银行（ICBC）的展台为TCCC的一些会员单位提供了展示其产品的空间，如新鲜水果、蜂蜜、饮料、大米、泰国调味品和泰国小吃等，中国工商银行上海跨境金融中心总经理及泰国参展商热情欢迎总领事团队一行。
With the support of the Thai Chamber of Commerce in China (TCCC), a number of TCCC members are provided space at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC)’s booth to display their products such as fresh fruits, honey, drink and beverages, rice, Thai seasoning and Thai snacks, etc. At the booth, Consul General Lada was received by Ms. Wu Kao, General Manager of ICBC Shanghai Cross-Border Finance Center, and greeted enthusiastically by the Thai exhibitors.

Charoen Pokphand (CP) Group, a prominent multinational conglomerate from Thailand with longstanding presence in China and continuous participation at the CIIE from the beginning, exhibited their high-quality food products such as fresh durian and durian-related products, pre-cooked cuisine, plant-based meat and pet products. Mr. Xue Zengyi and Mr. James Ye, Senior Vice Chairman and Vice Chairman of CP Group Agro-industry andFood Business China Area, welcomed Consul-General Lada.
泰国天丝集团或红牛也参加了第五届进博会，并推出了其新能量饮料，包括了百香果和混合水果口味。
TCP or Red Bull has also joined the 5th CIIE and introduced their new energy drinks with passion fruit and mixed fruit flavors.
此外，乐达总领事还应另一家领先食品公司南侨投控副总裁陈正文先生的邀请，出席了其“美味泰经典”新品首发仪式，上海市金山区区长李泽龙先生出席该仪式。通过与泰国投资委员会和盘谷银行的合作，南侨集团在过去30年中扩大了在泰国的投资，并专门生产大米制品、米饼和方便面等产品，这些产品目前正被引入中国市场和其他市场。
In addition, Consul-General Lada was invited by Mr. Clement Chen, Executive Vice President of Namchow Holdings, another leading food company, to grace its “Signature Thai” launching ceremony, where Mr. Li Zelong, Mayor of Jinshan District in Shanghai, was also in attendance. With the partnership with the Board of Investment of Thailand and Bangkok Bank, Namchow has expanded its investment in Thailand over 30 years and specialized in the production of rice products, rice crackers and instant noodles, which are now being introduced to the Chinese market and beyond.
在为泰国参展商送去支持的巡展期间，乐达总领事还会见了中国-东盟中心（ACC）秘书长史忠俊先生，并就ACC作为促进中国与东盟关系的政府间组织的发展进行了交流，总领事在2013-2015年间作为第一位借调到ACC的泰国外交官，并担任第一届公共关系处处长，与中国政府官员、媒体和朋友们一直保持着密切合作。
During the tour in support of the Thai exhibitors, Consul-General Lada met with Mr. Shi Zhongjun, Secretary-General of the ASEAN - China Centre (ACC), and exchanged on the development of ACC as an intergovernmental organization to promote ASEAN - China relations, where the Consul-General was the first Thai diplomat seconded at the ACC during the years 2013 - 2015. She was the first Director for PublicRelations and had worked closely with Chinese government officials, media and friends.
