Ambassador-Designate promotes cooperation between universities with President of BUFS on Thai Language Studies Support and Cultural Exchanges

On 16 May 2024, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador-designate of Thailand to the ROK, met with Mr. Chang Soon-heung, President of Busan University of Foreign Studies (BUFS) during his official visit to Busan. Ambassador Tanee and the President discussed possible avenues to elevate cooperation on education and on facilitating cultural and academic exchanges, including on providing further support for Thai language studies in the ROK and in exploring opportunities to increase two-way trade and investment.

The Ambassador also took the opportunity to visit and exchange views with professors from BUFS’ Thai Studies Department and an exchange professor from Khon Kaen University.
