Ambassador-designate to the ROK promotes trade-investment in Thailand with Busan’s business sector

On 16 May 2024, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador-designate of Thailand to the ROK, held a meeting with Mr. Yang Jae Saeng, President of the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), along with executives from the Chamber and from the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), Busan branch, in order to promote economic exchanges between Thailand and Busan.

The Ambassador-designate elaborated on Thailand’s strengths as an investment destination, as well as the current Thai government’s economic priorities, such as IGNITE THAILAND vision, investment in the EEC, the Landbridge Mega Project, and progress of the Thai-ROK bilateral FTA. Ambassador Tanee also invited Busan’s business sector to visit Thailand at the earliest opportunity to further explore trade-investment potentials.
