On 7 April 2023, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Minister of the Royal Thai Embassy, along with Ms. Chananya Punnarugsa, Director of Thai Trade Center Seoul, attended the “Taste of Thailand 2023” opening ceremony at Hyundai Department Store Yeouido branch, jointly organized by Thai Trade Center and Hyundai Department Store. The event aims to promote and increase the sales of Thai fresh fruits in South Korea, featuring mango, durian, mangosteen, pineapple, and ready-to-eat packaged durian (‘fresh pack durian’) which was introduced for the first time this year. The owner of Thai fruit exporter company ‘Lanna Harvest’ also traveled from Thailand to join in this ceremony. This year, Taste of Thailand is being held at 22 branches of Hyundai Department Store, as well as through 3 online channels, from 7 April – 11 May 2023.
