The Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul supports and joins a football tournament; the 1st Ambassador's Cup 2024 in the ROK

On June 23, 2024, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, presided over the award ceremony for the champion of the 1st Ambassador's Cup 2024 at Mansegyo Football Stadium, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do. Ambassador met with Mr. Baek Yong-hyun, Mayor of Pocheon City, and Mr. Kim Yong-tae, Member of the National Assembly of Pocheon City, to discuss ways to promote relations between Thailand and Pocheon City such as organizing a friendly football match, joining in festivals of the city and paying respect to Thai Soldier Monument, looked after by Pocheon City.

Ambassador gave a speech to all Thai football players, cheering team and Thai community participating in this event and encouraged them to remain united and to support each other as well as staying away from all vices. The Embassy is ready to help all Thai nationals.

Ambassador also led Team Thailand of officials to play a friendly football match with the Thai community team, watched the finals match, and presented the winner’s cup to the champion team which was full of fun and joy.
