Charge d'affaires, a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul welcomed progress of LH’s industrial estate project in Thailand

On 15 March 2024, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Charge d'affaires, a.i. (CDA) of the Royal Thai Embassy, along with Ms. Kritsana Saeheng, Director of the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI), Seoul Office, held a meeting with Ms. Lim Bo-kyung, Director, Global Business Office, Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH). During the meeting, Ms. Lim updated the Embassy on the progress of LH’s project to establish an industrial estate in Thailand, and LH executives’ plan to visit Thailand this month to survey areas in Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) as a site for the industrial estate, as well as to meet with Thailand’s concerned agencies for detailed discussions. CDA Bancha emphasized the attractiveness of Thailand as an investment destination, and informed LH of new projects currently being carried out by the Thai government that will further facilitate investment from overseas. He also encouraged speedy progress of the industrial estate project, and expressed the Embassy’s readiness to lend full support as the project has great potential in attracting many more Korean investors to Thailand.
