Ambassador of Thailand attends the cremation ceremony and visits the families of the Thai nationals who passed away in the Jeju Air crash accident at the Muan International Airport, Jeollanam province

Today (2 January 2025), H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, paid respects to Miss Jongluk Doungmanee, a Thai citizen who passed away in the Jeju Air crash accident at the Muan International Airport, Jeollanam province, met her family at Manpyeong Funeral Hall, Gwangju, and attended the cremation ceremony, at Gwangju Yeongnak Park, Gwangju.

Later, the Ambassador visited the family of Miss Sirithon Cha-ue, a Thai citizen who passed away in the same accident to provide assistance with documents related to death notification.

The Ambassador also had a consultation meeting with a representative of the ROK Transport Ministry but did not receive any additional information.

In the meetings with the bereaved families and Korean authorities, the Ambassador conveyed the condolences and support on behalf the Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Thailand and the Thai people.
