On 2 November 2022, H.E. Ms. Rommanee Kananurak, Ambassador of Thailand to Italy paid a courtesy call on Mrs. Vincenza Lomonaco, Director - General for Global Affairs at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to exchange views on the bilateral relations between Thailand and Italy. Both sides discussed ways to enhance the bilateral cooperation in areas such as security, economic cooperation, sustainable development, culture, agriculture, and cooperation under the framework of ASEAN – Italy Development Partnership and Italy’s Contribution to the EU Strategy for the Indo – Pacific as well as the convening of the 3rd Thai – Italian Political Consultations to be held by Thailand next year and the exchange of high-level visits between Thailand and Italy in the future.
