On 31 March 2022, Phra Dharma Bajrayanamuni or Ajahn Jayasaro gave Dhamma Talk in English and Thai languages at the Skiptvet Buddhist Monastery (Lokuttara Vihara) to about 70 people in the audience consisting of both Thai community, Norwegians and foreigners in Norway who are interested in Buddhism, including Mr. Egil Lothe, Secretary General of the Buddhist Federation of Norway and Mr. Per-ottó Wold, who donated the land to build the Skiptvet Buddhist Monastery.  The Dhamma Talk was broadcasted live on the Embassy’s Facebook page.

Most Venerable Ajahn Jayasaro gave his Dhamma Talk in English about how Buddhism is the study of change. He said that the quality of life is measured by how we can face with changes. Buddhism encourages us to understand changes by studying our hearts and minds and in being in the present moment. Most Venerable Ajahn Jayasaro was warmly received by members of the sangha at the Lokkutara Vihara, Thai community and Norwegians. His visit to Norway gave encouragement and moral support in strengthening the Thai community in Norway and Thai Buddhist community in Norway.
