The Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid Held a Reception on the Occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, the National Day of Thailand, and Thailand’s Father's Day

On 1 December 2022, Mr. Pongprach Makchang, Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid, presided over a cocktail reception on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, the National Day of Thailand, and Thailand’s Father's Day (5 December 2022) at the InterContinental Madrid Hotel. The event was attended by representatives from the public and private sectors of Spain, the diplomatic corps, local media as well as Thais and their families.

On this occasion, the Chargé d'affaires a.i. delivered a speech in remembrance of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, and proposed a toast for good health and happiness of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua and His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain.

On the same occasion, the Embassy also invited Mr. Paul Cesarczyk, a former guitar professor at the College of Music, Mahidol University, and a renowned American guitarist to play classical guitar on three royal compositions, namely: Our Land, Near Dawn, and the Dream Most Noble, at the reception.
