Royal Thai Embassy, Madrid organized an activity to promote the popularity of Thai cuisine in Barcelona

On 17 May 2022, Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid, in collaboration with Escola Superior d´Hosteleria Vedruna Gracia and Casa Asia, organized Thai food demonstration to promote Thailand and Thai culture, particularly its gastronomy, to the Spaniards as well as popularize Thai food products and restaurants in Barcelona.
At the first session offered to the academic community of Escola Superior d´Hosteleria Vedruna Gracia, Chefs of the Thai Ambassador’s residence, Mr. Thagongiet Luechai and Mr. Anucha Panikorn, prepared Pad Thai, Gaeng Kiew Wan Gai (Thai green curry with chicken, served with Thai Jasmine rice) and Kanom Tuay (Steamed coconut milk pudding). Meanwhile, in the afternoon session offered to general public in Barcelona, the two chefs prepared Tod Man Gung (Thai shrimp cakes), Panang Nua (Thai Panang beef curry) and Tub Tim Grob (Water chestnuts in coconut milk). There were 50 participants altogether in the two sessions.
