During 21-22 April 2022, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain led a delegation of the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid to visit Sevilla. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen ties with local authorities and further explore economic, trade, investment and tourism cooperation between Thailand and Sevilla.

     The Thai Ambassador met with dignitaries of Sevilla, both from public and private sectors, namely, Mr. Juan Carlos Cabrera Valera, Deputy Mayor of Sevilla, Mr. Francisco Herrero León, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Sevilla and Ms.  Rosario Alarcón, Director General of Andalucia Global (a public entity in charge of promoting image of Andalucia abroad), during the visit to the city.  Ambassador of Thailand also took the opportunity to seek the assistance of the local authorities to the Thai community and Thai tourists in Sevilla.

     Additionally, the Ambassador and her delegation visited “Charm & Spice ’’ Thai restaurant which was just newly opened and is located in Jerez de la Frontera to express the support to Thai business in Spain.
