On 2 December 2024, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kota Bharu organised the Royal Thai Volunteers Activity by providing relief items for flood-affected people in Kelantan, in commemoration of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, Thai National Day and National Father’s Day.  Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Thailand to Kota Bharu, together with the Consulate-General’s officials, their spouses and staff, handed over the relief items, including rice, water, and canned fish to Wat Phikunthong and Wat Chaeng Phuttawat for further distribution. Phrakhru Suwanvaranukul, Abbot of Wat Phikunthong Vararam, Phrakru Visudthammarat, Abbot of Wat Chaeng Phuttawat, Mr. Chamroen Serirat, Village Headman of Terbak District, Tumpat and Assoc. Prof. Pim Utraphan, Advisor to Kelantan Siamese Association, received the items on behalf of people affected by floods in Kelantan.
