On 24 April 2024, Consul General of Thailand in Karachi, along with Thai consulate official and President of the Pak Thai Friendship Association and Business Forum, met over lunch with Mr. Richard Yeo E-Liang and Ms. Pilanthana Polkan, executives of R&B Food Supply Public Company Limited (R&B Food Supply), a leading manufacturer of breadcrumbs in Thailand. This took place during a visit by the R&B Food Supply delegation to Karachi and Lahore to explore trade and investment opportunities in Pakistan. The CEO of A.F.U. International, a Pakistani importer and partner of R&B Food Supply, was also present at the meeting.

R&B Food Supply has plans to enter into a joint venture with their Pakistani partner and establish a breadcrumb manufacturing plant in Hyderabad.
