On March 16, 2022, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Jeddah, in collaboration with Thai Trade Center in Jeddah, organized a hybrid seminar on “Trade Opportunities between Thailand and Saudi Arabia” at the Crowne Plaza Jeddah. Speakers who attended the event include Mr. Soradjak Puranasamriddhi, Consul-General of Thailand, Ambassador Jukr Boon-Long, Vice Chairman of the Institute of Business Economics Research and Development (IBERD) Foundation, Mr. Apichat Prasertsud, Director of Thai Trade Center in Jeddah and Mr. Thanate Vorasaran, Deputy Secretary General, Board of Trade of Thailand.

The seminar aims to increase the awareness of the economic opportunities between Thailand and Saudi Arabia especially in trade, investment and tourism. 

During the event, a reception was organised for the Consulate General, Thai Trade Center and businesspersons from Suadi Arabia to expand their network between each other.
