The Royal Thai Embassy in Doha congratulates Dr. Savanid Vatanasakdakul, Thai Associate Teaching Professor of Information Systems at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q), a partner university of Qatar Foundation, for her success in spearheading the establishment of the first national chapter of the Association of Information Systems (AIS) in Thailand. The AIS Thailand Chapter is a research community that serves as a platform for researchers and scholars in Information Systems in Thailand to collaborate and enhance their knowledge and activities while connecting to the global IS research community. Dr. Savanid Vatanasakdakul is also the president-elect of the AIS Qatar Chapter, the first Thai professor to assume the position.
