Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chicago attended “The Charity of Thai Communities in Chicago to Aid Flooding in Thailand”

On September 28th, 2024, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit, Deputy Consul-General Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, Consul Urasee Thiratangsathira Jeong, along with Ms. Anoma Vongyai, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Chicago Office, and Mrs. Sirima Yuviengjaya, Deputy Director of TAT, attended the event “The Charity of Thai Communities in Chicago to Aid Flooding in Thailand” at Wat Dhammaram, Chicago. This event was organized to raise funds to assist those affected by the floods in Thailand, hosted by the Thai American Association of Illinois in collaboration with various associations in Chicago and nearby areas. Proceeds from the event and additional donations will be presented to the Thai Red Cross Society to further support those impacted by the floods in Thailand.
 
The Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chicago would like to express the gratitude to the organizing committee, volunteers, participants, and all donors for their generous contributions.
