On August 22nd, 2024, Consul-General Katanawadee Kalayanamit presides over the Royal Decoration Presentation Ceremony of the Commander (Third Class) of the Most Admirable Order of the Direkgunabhorn, which was conferred upon Mrs. Suchitra Surapiboonchai, Chairman of the Board Directors of Wat Buddha Dhamma. Participants included Senator Tammy Duckworth of Illinois, officials and staff members of the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chicago, the Thai Trade Center, Chicago, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Chicago office, Monks, and the Thai community in the Midwest area.
