On 27 July 2022, on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phravajiraklaochaoyuhua’s Birthday Anniversary, H.E. Ms. Busadee Santipitaks, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Commonwealth of Australia presided over activities to celebrate this auspicious occasion at Dhammadharo Temple, Canberra which included a religious ceremony of merit making and alms offering to monks. Heads of Team Thailand Agencies represented in Canberra, officials and spouses together with members of the Australia-Thailand Association, Canberra (ATA), attended the said ceremony. On the same day, Ambassador Busadee led the Heads of Team Thailand agencies represented in Canberra and their spouses in a community service activity. This community volunteering activity is held in carrying out His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s wishes and initiative to continue, preserve and build upon His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great’s legacy by doing "good deeds from our hearts".  The Royal Thai Embassy, together with Thai agencies represented in Canberra donated essential items such as stationery sets, household products, children's toys and books to the Canberra Hospital Foundation.
