From 11 - 13 December 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest organised a Thai culinary promotion event at Amadria Park Hotel Capital in Zagreb, Croatia. The event featured cooking workshops designed to introduce chefs from the Amadria Park hotel chain to the art of preparing authentic Thai dishes including Krathong Thong (Thai Savoury Tartlets), Thai Salad Rolls, and the iconic Tom Yum Kung, which has been inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (RL) under the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. Amadria Park Hotel aims to include these Thai dishes in its menu to help promote authentic Thai cuisine in Croatia.
The Embassy served the three aforementioned dishes at the Thai National Day Reception held on 12 December 2024 at Bela Caffé, Amadria Park Hotel Capital.
