On 26 March 2024, H.E. Mr. Phrommes Bhaholpolbhayuhasena presented the Letters of Credence, accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Hungary, to H.E. Mr. Tamás Sulyok, President of Hungary. On this occasion, the President expressed his impression on the Thai hospitality during his official visit to Thailand in 2020, and discussed the possible areas of cooperation, especially during Hungarian Presidency of the European Council. Later, Ambassador Bhaholpolbhayuhasena visited the Monument of Hungarian Heroes (Heroes’ Square) to lay a wreath in honour of Hungarian national heroes.

After the presentation of the Letters of Credence, Ambassador Bhaholpolbhayuhasena hosted a vin d’honneur at the Thai Residence. The guests included Ambassadors from ASEAN countries, representatives from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, private sector, and the Thai community in Budapest.
