On 29 May 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens organised the Royal Thai Volunteers Project for the Celebrations on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 28th July 2024. H.E. Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic along with the Embassy’s officials and staff catered popular Thai dishes and dessert such as shrimp pad thai, pork panang curry, fried chicken, jasmine rice and mung bean custard cakes for approximately 110 students and staff members at Xatzikyriakou Child Protection Foundation in Piraeus.

The Ambassador also met with the Foundation’s executives including Mr. Georgios Dimitriou, Vice President of the Board of Directors, Mrs. Anastasia Katsilieri, Director of the Foundation, and Mrs. Eirini Foti, Deputy Director of the Foundation. The Foundation expressed its appreciation for the Embassy’s goodwill and initiative, which provided an opportunity for the students to experience Thai cuisine and culture. After the lunch, the Ambassador had an informative session to share his experience as a career diplomat with secondary school students who were interested in this career.
