On 21 April 2022, Mr. Chatchawan Sakornsin, Ambassador of Thailand to Kazakhstan visited Kazakhstan International Tourism Fair 2022 (KITF 2022) in which the Moscow Office of Tourism Authority of Thailand also organized an Exhibition to promote Thailand as one of the top destinations among Kazakh and Central Asian tourists. The Ambassador of Thailand also used this opportunity to have a meeting with Miss Khanittha Phanworawat, Director of the Moscow Office of Tourism Authority of Thailand, as well as with a representative of Air Astana, to seek ways to promote more tourists from Kazakhstan and Central Asia to Thailand.

            The Kazakhstan International Tourism Fair is the biggest tourism expo in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Apart from Thailand, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan’s tour operators and agencies also participated in the event.
