On Monday, 16 May 2022, His Excellency Wissanu Kreu-Ngam, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, on behalf of the government and the people of Thailand, visited Abu Dhabi to convey our profound condolences from the Government and the people of Thailand to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nayanh, the new President of the United Arab Emirates and the new Ruler of Abu Dhabi Dhabi for the Royal passing of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Late President of the United Arab Emirates, Ruler of Abu Dhabi (16th) and Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces on Friday 13 May 2022. Mr. Waravuth Pouapinya, Ambassador of Thailand to the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Chairat Sirivat,Consul-General of Thailand in Dubai and Mrs. Palida Ruamkham, Minister Counsellor (Labour Affairs) from the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi were also present at the mourning ceremony. Many foreign Royals, Heads of State, government leaders also came to offer their condolences to the Royal Family of the United Arab Emirates.
