On 25 November 2025, Mr. Nikorndej Balankura, Director-General of the Department of Information, in his capacity as the Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Public Relations of the Prince Mahidol Award Foundation, attended the joint press conference to announce the scholars of the Prince Mahidol Award Youth Program (PMAYP) 2025, who will travel to study and conduct their research, participate in professional training courses, or work in community development abroad, for one year.

The five recipients of the Prince Mahidol Award Youth Program Scholarship for 2025 are as follows:

1. Mr. Chaovanon Sophonsakulsuk

Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University

Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University

2. Mr. Peeradon Dutsadeevettakul

Faculty of Medicine Vajira Hospital, Navamindradhiraj University

3. Ms. Papart Rungrasameviriya

Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University

4. Ms. Maylin Wongjarupun

Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University

5. Ms. Siripong Chayanopparat

Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University

The Director-General congratulated the Scholarship students and reiterated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has always attached importance to the PMAYP and is ready to organize a briefing for the recipients to prepare for their departure, as well as to facilitate the recipients’ stay during their time abroad. He also expressed his confidence that the achievements of the PMAYP Scholars will help further promote the potential of Thai healthcare sector and personnel on a global level.
