“Songkran Celebration in Queens Borough”
On April 30, 2026, Mr. Khanthong Nuanual, Deputy Consul General, represented Royal Thai Consulate General, attended the “QBP Donovan Richards' Songkran Celebration” at Helen Marshall Cultural Center, Queen Borough Hall, Queens, New York.  The event was hosted by Mr.Donovan Richards Queens Borough President. Deputy Consul General delivered a remarks and celebrated Songkran with Thai community and local authorities.  In addition, the celebration featured the traditional water-pouring ceremony (Rod Nam Dum Hua), presentations of citations to Thai honorees, whom recognized for their outstanding contributions to the Queens community and cultural performances in a warm and festive atmosphere. The event beautifully reflected the integration of the Thai community as part of Queens’ s multicultural communities.
