On January 25, 2025, Mr. Khanthong Nuanual, Deputy Consul General, as a representative of Consul General , along with Ms. Katesuda Thongna, Consul, represented the Royal Thai Consulate-General in New York at the opening ceremony of the 19th Annual AAAC New Year Celebration 2025. The event, organized by the Asian American Activity Center, Inc., took place at Tangram Mall in Flushing, New York City.
On this occasion, the Deputy Consul General extended Chinese New Year greetings and expressed appreciation for the Asian-American community, including the Thai community, for promoting cultural identity, showcasing beautiful traditions, and contributing to New York City's multicultural fabric through cultural exchanges.
The event featured artistic performances from the Chinese, Thai, Myanmar, Malaysian, Indonesian, Filipino, and Indian communities, along with showcasing goods and culinary delights from various Asian countries. For Thailand, Thai Life New York actively participated by presenting traditional Thai music and dance performances, as well as featuring Thai food and desserts throughout the two-day event (January 25–26, 2025)
The Royal Thai Consulate-General commends Thai Life New York for its active role in promoting Thai arts and culture, which helps foster closer people-to-people ties and represents the strength and unity of Asian community, thriving as an integral part of the vibrant cultural diversity in New York City.
