On January 25, 2025, Ms. Somjai Taphaopong, Consul General of Thailand in New York, visited Thailand’s booth hosted by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, New York Office, as part of the New York Travel & Adventure Show 2025. The event, held from January 25–26, 2025, took place at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.

Ms. Chompu Marusachot, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, New York Office, led her team in providing visitors with information about travel in Thailand. The team worked to drive demand for Thai tourism by offering meaningful travel experiences. These efforts highlighted the “5 Must Do in Thailand” concept (Must Taste, Must Try, Must Buy, Must Seek, Must See). Additionally, a photo corner was set up where attendees could dress as Thai boxers, aligning with the promotion of the year 2025 as the “Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sport Year”.

The New York Travel & Adventure Show is one of the largest travel promotion events in the United States. This year, it is expected to draw over 20,000 attendees, including travel industry professionals and the general public from the Tri-State Area and surrounding regions.
