On 8 October 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi organized a commemorative event on the occasion of Navamindra Maharaj Day, the Memorial Day to His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, on 13 October. H.E. Miss Chavanart Thangsumphant, Ambassador of Thailand to India, along with the Heads of Team Thailand’s Offices and officials of the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi, as well as their family members, have performed activities such as merit-making, buddhist chanting ceremony, and the offering of a fresh flower bouquet, and a wreath-laying ceremony, followed by 89 seconds of silence in remembrance of His Majesty’s boundless benevolence and enduring legacy.
