On 4 July 2023, Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, welcomed and hosted dinner for the delegation of the Thai American Youth Heritage Program at Vithes Samosorn. This year, more than 200 youths and parents from Arizona, California, Georgia, Kansas, Nevada, Texas, and Washington participated in the Program during 1 – 16 July 2023.

The Vice Minister congratulated the organizing committee on the success of the Program that has been continuing for over 40 years. The Program plays an important role in providing opportunities for Thai- American youths to learn more about their Thai heritage and have a first-hand experience on the essence of Thainess through studying tour of Thai cultures, excursions to historical sites, and community service activities.

Earlier on the same day, the Thai-American youths and parents also paid a courtesy call on the Prime Minister at the Government House.

The Thai American Youth Heritage Program is organized every two years by the Thai communities in the United States, with the support of the Royal Thai Consulate General in Los Angeles.
