On 23 January 2024, H.E. Mr. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended the Mobile Cabinet Meeting 1/2024 in Ranong province, chaired by H.E. Mr. Srettha Thavisin, Prime Minister.

On this occasion, the cabinet approved the Adhoc Commitee to elaborate a Comprehensive International Convention on Countering the Use of Information and Communications Technology for Criminal Purposes, of which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be the main agency to set the direction for the discussions with other relevant agencies. The Comprehensive International Convention will help Thailand combat new challenges that come with the use of information and communications technology for criminal purposes.

In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister also shared views on 6 draft outcome documents for the 27th Meeting of ASEAN Tourism Ministers and other relevant Ministerial Meetings to be held on 25-26 January 2024 in Lao PDR. The draft outcome documents highlight the revitalisation of tourism in ASEAN post-Covid-19, the promotion of sustainable and inclusive tourism in the region, as well as the tourism cooperation in ASEAN with ASEAN partners.
