H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, sent messages of condolence to H.E. It is with great sadness that I have learned of the numerous deaths, devastation and destruction caused by the storms and the worst floods in decades that have hit Western Germany recently.
I have the honour to extend to Your Excellency my sincerest sympathy and deepest condolences to you and to all those gravely affected by this catastrophe.
I am confident that Germany’s experiences in disaster management will bring rapid recovery to the affected areas and its people and hope that their livelihood will soon be restored to normalcy.

I have been informed of the news report regarding the unprecedented devastating floods in the Netherlands which caused severe damage to many people and their properties over the weekend.
In this connection, I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Your Excellency and, through you, to those who have been affected by this natural catastrophe. Thailand is no stranger to such disasters caused by environmental factors and climate change. We stand by the Netherlands and hope that our solidarity will serve as consolation and a source of strength for the people of the Netherlands during this difficult time.

On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand as well as on my behalf, I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences and solidarity to Your Excellency and; through you, to the Belgian Government and people amidst this traumatic disaster. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families who lost their loved ones and those who have lost their homes.
