On Sunday 26 th October 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Los Angeles organised the Buddhist Chanting Funeral Service in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother of the Kingdom of Thailand at Wat Thai of Los Angeles. Mr. Tor Saralamba, Consul-General of Thailand, his spouse, the Heads of Team Thailand agencies, officials and staff from the Royal Thai Consulate-General attended the said service. The Buddhist Chanting Funeral Service was co-hosted by the Council of the Thai Bhikkhus in USA, Wat Thai of Los Angeles, and related Thai community groups in Los Angeles namely: the Thai Association of Southern California, Nuad Thai and Spa Association of America and Thai Town Council of Los Angeles. More than a hundred members of the Thai community in Los Angeles gathered to express their loyalty and condolences, honoring and remembering Her Majesty for her lifelong devotion and boundless grace.
