On 4 October 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Royal Thai Embassy in Pretoria, provided support for the youth delegation of 8 Thai students, led by the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Lesotho to Thailand, to perform Khon, at Setsoto Stadium in Maseru, Kingdom of Lesotho, as part of the Bicentennial Celebration of the Establishment of the Kingdom of Lesotho, at the invitation of the Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho. The Thai youth also participated in cultural exchange activities with the Basotho youth.
On this occasion, Their Majesties the King and Queen of Lesotho granted a private audience to the Thai delegation at the Royal Residence in Matsieng.
