On 14 September 2023, H.E. Mr. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, hosted dinner in honour of Chief Negotiators from Partner Countries of Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) during IPEF Negotiation Round in Bangkok at Salathip Restaurant, Shangri-La Bangkok Hotel.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister welcomed Chief Negotiators from all 14 IPEF Partner Countries. He reiterated the Royal Thai Government’s priorities in pursuing proactive economic diplomacy in enhancing trade and investment opportunities. He stressed that Thailand is looking forward to working with IPEF partners in all Four Pillars of the Framework in order to enhance trade and investment standards, strengthen supply chain resilience and crisis response, advance climate action and green transition, and fostering anti-corruption and tax transparency. Through collective efforts, IPEF Partner Countries could advance the negotiation and mutually enjoy the benefits of IPEF.

The Bangkok Round is taking place during 10-16 September 2023 at Shangri-La Bangkok Hotel. The negotiation aims to continue the progress made from the previous negotiation in Busan, South Korea, in July 2023. This Round was attended by approximately 650 delegates from Australia, Brunei, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, United States and Viet Nam.
