On 24 May 2024, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, the Director-General of Department of International Organizations, received a courtesy call from Ms. Geraldine Ansart, Chief of Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Thailand.

They discussed the collaboration between IOM and Thai government agencies to ensure effective migration management and to provide assistance to various groups of vulnerable migrants in Thailand, including joint activities to promote positive public perception towards migrants, media training, and the upcoming National Consultation on Migration Governance Indicator (MGI).
