On 24 September 2025, Mr. Phuchphop Mongkolnavin, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, had a discussion with representatives from the European Union and its Member States.

They exchanged views on issues of priorities at the 80th UN General Assembly and the 60th UN Human Rights Council, which are currently convening. The Deputy Director-General underscored Thailand's proactive role in advancing human rights, gender equality, and youth involvement on the global stage, as well as highlighted its contributions to humanitarian assistance efforts.
