On 28 November 2023, Mrs. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), led 50 representatives from Asia-Pacific countries in visiting Kubota Farm in Chonburi. The visit is part of the 5th Asia-Pacific Directors General (APDG) Forum on South-South and Triangular Cooperation, hosted by TICA and the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) during 27-28 November 2023.

The aim of visit is to learn about innovations and best practices in Thai agriculture and how the use of technology can promote smart farming and boost productivity. The representatives visited 3 zones: (1) Precision Rice Farm and Crop Rotation Zone (2) New Theory Agriculture Zone and (3) Horticultural Innovation Zone.

Kubota Farm is the first experiential modern farm in Southeast Asia on the 250-rai land. It uses modern agricultural innovations to make farming more precise and efficient. Interested farmers and people can visit Kubota Farm to check out and try various agricultural machineries and innovations.
