Minister of Foreign Affairs meets with executives of PTTEP to discuss Thailand’s energy security

On 12 March 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, had a discussion with executives from PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP), led by Mr. Montri Rawanchaikul, PTTEP Chief Executive Officer.

The meeting exchanged information and views on various issues, including energy security, particularly the current energy situation amidst the situation in the Middle East. They also discussed PTTEP’s overseas operations and the search for new energy sources and potential investment in the future. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its readiness to support the investment and expansion of business opportunities for the Thai private sector to enhance the country’s competitiveness and sustainable economic development.
