On 2 October 2025, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Thai and international media at Media Night at the Ministry's press conference room. Over 130 members of the media attended the event.

The Minister stated that despite his short tenure, he intended to establish a long-term foundation that reinstated Thailand back on the global radar screen, emphasizing multidimensional and multidirectional foreign policy wherever Thailand's interests lie, as well as having constructive roles and stances on key global agendas and international and regional issues.

The Minister also took the opportunity to recognize media's vital role in promoting public understanding of government and foreign policy, which in turn, makes it more transparent and accessible. Today, the complex information landscape makes partnership with the media ever more critical.
