On 2 February 2025, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, discussed with H.E. Mr. Moshe Arbel, Minister of Interior of Israel. Both sides discussed ways to promote labour cooperation. The Thai side reiterated its call for safe work place, as well as benefits and welfare for the Thai workers in Israel. The Minister of Foreign Affairs also appreciated good care provided by the Israeli side for the Thai workers in Israel, as well as reiterated the significance of capacity building to enhance their productivity further, since labour cooperation is one of the main areas of the Thai-Israeli relations.
