On 22 January 2024, H.E. Mr. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, chaired a meeting to deliver policy guidance to the governors and heads of relevant government agencies from Regional Inspection (Region 6) at the Ranong City Hall, Ranong province.

On this occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister delivered both policy and budget allocation guidance in the Regional Inspection (Region 6), which consists of Krabi, Trang, Phang Nga, Phuket, Ranong, and Satun provinces. He underscored the importance of policy implementation in accordance with the government’s proactive economic policies, aiming to promote the interests of the Thai people and the development in diverse dimensions, including green economy, renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, digital services, and infrastructure. He also instructed the provinces and related agencies to collaborate with benefits of the people in mind.

In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister was briefed by the governors on challenges and obstacles hindering their local policy implementation to address them together.
