On 30 October 2024, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director- General of the Department of International Organizations met with H.E. Mr. Faiyaz Murshid Kazi, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Thailand, on the occasion of the Ambassador's assumption of duty.

Both sides discussed cooperation between Thailand and Bangladesh in multilateral frameworks including development, migration, regional security and climate change. Both sides also exchanged views on Thailand's potential role as a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council for the term 2025 - 2027.
