Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency meets with the Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala to Thailand

On 14 November 2025, Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), had a discussion with H.E. Ms. Shirley Dennise Aguilar Barrera, Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala to Thailand. Also in attendance was Ms. Arunee Hiam, Deputy Director-General of TICA.

Both sides expressed their intention to promote development cooperation in various areas, such as agriculture, education, and human resource development. They also agreed to jointly consider the establishment of a Memorandum of Understanding between TICA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Guatemala. Both sides expressed appreciation for the diplomatic relations between Thailand and the Republic of Guatemala, which will mark their 70th anniversary in 2027. They also reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthen development cooperation between the two countries.
