On 5 March 2026, Mrs. Urasa Mongkolnavin, Director-General of the Department of South Asian, Middle East and African Affairs, met with H.E. Mr. Abdulrahman Abdulaziz Alsuhaibani, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Thailand. Both sides discussed the ongoing situation in the Middle East and Thailand’s urgent mission to assist Thai nationals affected by the situation in the Middle East.
