On 3 November 2026, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, met with H.E. Ms. Julide Kayıhan, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Thailand.

Both sides exchanged views on multilateral issues of mutual interest, including the selection of the next Secretary-General of the United Nations, and the 31st Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP31), to be hosted by Türkiye in November 2026.
