On 14 August 2025, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, had a discussion with H.E. Mr. Pham Viet Hung, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to Thailand.

Both sides discussed on the strengthening of multilateralism amidst evolving geopolitical tensions and enhancement of international cooperation to combat the growing threat of cybercrime. The Director-General congratulated Viet Nam for serving as the host country for the signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime on 25 - 26 October 2025 in Hanoi.

In addition, they also exchanged views on the situation in the border area between Thailand - Cambodia in the contexts of the Ottawa Convention and the Geneva Convention of 1949.
