On 16 September 2025, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, had a discussion with Ms. Géraldine Ansart, Chief of Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Thailand, on the occasion of the latter’s completion of tenure.

The Director-General expressed appreciation to the IOM Thailand’s Chief of Mission for her contribution in strengthening cooperation between Thailand and IOM, including in facilitating and providing support to migrants in various settings and promoting positive perception of migrants. Both sides also reaffirmed commitment to working closely to further promote good migration governance in Thailand and the region.
