On 21 January 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, had a bilateral meeting with H.E. Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos, Swiss Confederation.

Both sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Pakistan in various areas, including economic cooperation, halal industry, as well as exchange of high-level visits. Both sides also exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation in international fora.
