On 28 February 2025, H.E. Dr. Lalivan Karnchanachari, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, welcomed Hon. Mr. Jan Bartošek, Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic as part of the official visit to Thailand by the Czech Parliamentary Committee.

The Vice Minister and the Deputy Speaker discussed ways to enhance Thai-Czech relations and promote closer partnership in various areas, particularly the preparation for the 3rd Thai-Czech Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation, which the Czech Republic will host this year. Both sides also exchanged views on key regional and global developments as well as fostering cooperation at the regional level, particularly in the Thai-EU framework.
